Leydon Restorations’ Mission Statement

Short version:

Preserving automotive history with passion and exquisite craftsmanship.

Slightly longer version:

Years ago, the vision for Leydon Restorations was to develop a facility that could skillfully perform any automotive task. Thirty years of accumulated wisdom and experience has taught us that there is no end to this pursuit. It has also forged a desire and a commitment “to do better than we do.” Without daily challenges, we would have stagnated long ago.

Hanging on every tool box in our shop is a “Restoration Do and Don’t” sheet. It is a daily reminder of our assignment.

Do:
Think. Ask if in doubt. Ask anyway. Stay calm. Pay attention to detail. Have FUN!

Don’t:
Assume. Ignore. Fluster. Rush.

I believe these old cars should be exercised regularly on the open road or on the track and enjoyed to the max. One such annual opportunity is the Colorado Grand.
